Hello, Happy 1st of January 2018 (say whaat?!) and welcome to my new little space in this online world.
I suppose i should start by introducing myself, right? I’m Jade, a very short 25 year old northern girl (lady and woman still sound a little too old to assosiate with at this age, amirite?!) and i’m brand new in this world we call blogging!
As we nose dive in to a brand new year, i decided that there can’t be any better time than now to try something new out, and have something brand new to focus on. I’ve been thinking about starting up a blog for quite some time but i always felt a mixture of embarrassed, silly, uneducated in this realm and i guess bothered about what people would think. Obviously i know that this is totally ridiculous and i’m for sure the type of person who decides she wants to try something out, so does!
In the past year or two i’ve definitely become more aware of just how in to fashion, personal style, beauty and of course homeware (who doesn’t obsess over homeware?!) i am. So i figured why not document my likes, thoughts and inspirations on here as a sort of space to reflect on, and if anybody cares to have a read then that’s a bonus i guess!
So let’s talk about this dreamy outfit i wore for New Years Eve (which unfortunatly i didn’t manage to get a full length solo photo of, but i’ve inserted one of me and my boyfriend so you get the jist) it consisted of this beautiful one armed metallic star print body i managed to pick up in the sale at Topshop. I’d had my eye on it for a while, so when i saw one left hanging there on the sale rack in my size i knew it was meant to be! I teamed it with a red high waisted shiny vinyl skirt which zipped all the way up the front and fastened with two press studs which I also managed to bag in the sale at H&M – winner winner chicken dinner! I finished off the look with fishnet tights, black peep toe block heeled boots and black tassle earrings. Simple but just what i wanted from this look!
So there we have it, my first ever blogpost and it wasn’t so scary after all! (And breathe)
If anybody did stumble upon this page and gave it a read then thanks a bunch!
